Planning to buy an 1800ES 1800 1973

Sounds kind of rusty.
But you can take that comment with a grain of salt,as I live in Cali.
It will, however carry some cargo, with the rear seat folded.
The drivers door seal may have dried up and failed,by what
you say about floorpan.
See Yankee 1800 thread for my take on FI hoses and clamps.
Leaving injectors in may clog them.𖏲]
1/4 panel repair panel has a different part number,
but arches will work.
Fin trim is same,early/late has different clips.
Difficult to remove without distortion.
Make your wooden wedges and bring it straight up.
General Troubles:
True restoration is expensive.
They tend to be $1000-$2500 beaters,or time capsule/garaged,
or solid completely restored $10-$12 Cars.
Need to be garaged, water seems to work it's magic with 1800's.
Jumpy gauges and voltage stabilizer.
General good:
Aerodynamic,handling,aesthecis,B20,M41,Supposedly 1800's are
the 'new' overlooked collectable 'sports car' with reliable mechanicals.
They are actually touring cars not 1/4 milers.
I know, they keep following me home too.
