first attempt at front suspension rebuild! 200 1992

having just completed construction of a new garage, i have decided to spend some time this winter rebuilding the front end of my 240 wagon. when i first acquired the car 3 years ago, it had some minor noises from the front end, but recently they have gotten quite worse to the point i'm a bit afraid to drive the car!

i have read the front suspension section of the FAQ and was looking for some pointed advice on what i should spend my time on to get the most value out of my time. i consider myself a moderately skilled DIYr, but this is the first time i have tackled any suspension work. also, any warnings of components which can be a PITA to replace would be appreciated!

thanks,
kevin
