code 2-1-2 & breaks hissing at the pedal 900

Hi All,

I have a 1995 960 with 128K miles. The break pedal when pressed sound like it has a vacuum leak and I can hear a very loud hissing sound. I am also experiencing a very noticeable rough idle at stops when idling, and the rpm jumps up and down and the car almost dies. I read the code and have a 2-1-2. Looked it up and it points to a faulty Oxygen sensor. My question is could it be that I really just have a ruptured break booster and it is causing the rough idle. Could a break booster cause the rough idle? I think I read in one of the posts that the break booster can leak in to the intake.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
