Continuing or new problem w/ OD on 83 automatic 200 1983

Replace the kickdown cable, period. From there, if you don't use the OD disable button much or ever, go to IPD and get an OD bypass plate, another option would be to grind a channel in the existing OD solenoid.

If you want to fix the OD button, replace it, and then inspect the insulation going to the OD solenoid on the trans. From there, suspect the OD relay.
