cold start injector - disconnect recommended by mechanic? 200

Hi there,

I took my new/old 1990 240 to my mechanic recently - about a month ago. he recommended unplugging the cold start injector because it presents more problems connected than disconnected. He is usually pretty good so, i let him do it. Is this true? I'm wondering because my car has a hard start issue and from what i've read the whole point of the cold start injector is to get the car started easier.

Is this true? Or, should I have it reconnected?

new 240 guy
