Automatic in a pv544 444-544

http://www.georger.com/t5_transmission_conversion.htm
here is a view of the "trimming" I did to fit a Mustang T5 transmission (5 speed). I like it so much I might do it to my 1800ES automatic this winter. But I also question the BW35 fitting without a lot of cutting and welding. I did it in my garage without any training (just the will to succeed) but the tunnel is quite narrow in a 544/444. I do have 2 BW 35's available if anyone is interested in purchasing them. I just love a stick shift and my '73 will get one this winter leaving my working bw35 and a spare available. Both are out of the car (as of Sunday) so if anybody wants measurements... I'll get them.

Thanks

Christopher

As I recall... I took the width to 12 inches from a little under 10 for the T5
