To answer your questions, improving the breathing is one of the easiest and most effective improvements you can make...and the 4-2-1 system can be bolted right on...you might find that you may want to adjust the jet a flat or two after a few days of driving, but that's it...needles?...valve lash?...Bah! Combine that with a 2" system all the way back, and you have relieved the factory built-in asthma!

I don't see what all the fuss about the difference in flange height is...just cut some of those fat oe washers and use them to even up the bolting surface...
