Please... not the rack. 700

I have had loud, clunking suspension in the past, had my shop replace the shocks, et al, and the ball joints (which were making the loudest noise) and in making sure they were the problem today, I discovered a noise and sensation not caused by them.

When I turn the wheel in park, drive, any gear with brakes on or off, I get a clunk when I turn the wheels past a certain point. The right wheel seems to fail to turn at one point, then turn just as the sound happens. This only occurs at one point in the turning radius.

I have 240K miles on this 90 740T. I live on a property where I have to drive a very rough farm road ~1 mile to get to my house and the car has been driver there for >5 years. Lots of stress on the wheels.

It obviously requires more investigation, but does this sound like a potential rack failure?
