Replace those shocks...see pic 200

Pulled a set of those originals off of a 92 245 with 236K miles, if I extended the shaft fully and stood them upright, the shaft would drop 2 inches in a few seconds. When they go, they go slowly, unfortunately the person that drives it daily doesn't "pick up" on the gradual failure until the handling is sooo bad that its dangerous!

When I pick up a used ride, shocks and struts get replaced by default, even if they look new.
