Alternate Oil Filler Gasket 700

My oil fill caps on all three of the B230f engines always stay a little wet with weepage from the valve cover. I use chemical transfer hoses in the laboratory and noticed that the 2" cam-lock coupling gaskets were the same diameter I.D and O.D but were thicker than the oil filler gasket. I tried one on the very leaky 765 and have not seen a drop in over a week. It does take a bit more pressure on the cap to start the ears in, but the fit is tight. Any hose supply house has the gaskets and they are comparatively cheap.

Regards,
