No air from vents? 700 1991

Basic problem: No air coming out of my '91 740's air vents.

Background: Fan crapped out on me the other day, after only running on setting 5 ever since I bought the car. Took the dash apart, pulled the fan, dumped 5 gallons of water out on the ground, let fan dry overnight, reinstalled same fan, and fan works. Replaced resistor pack, since I was already in there, and I was able to get one for a 940 from fcp groton for only $20 vs. $70-something from Taylor automotive (this is sort of a pain because you have to remove the guts of the pack from the new one and install them on the old one). Also, I poked a tiny hole in the bottom of the fan housing to let any more water that comes in, out; and I lubed the motor shaft too.

So now, I have a fan that works, and on all 5 speeds, too. Yay! But, no air comes out of the vents. Well, maybe a SLIGHT draft (which IS warm), but nowhere near what it ought to be. What did I break? Any thoughts? Thanks!
