This was my favorite Volvo! The '82 245T! It was right after dusk, I was in a hurry to get a pizza home so I went around the slowpoke when the lines turned to dashed yellow. A minute later I saw a deer and POP! the hood blew up vertically. Bummer. If I had followed the slowpoke, I would have had a straight Volvo when I got home.



Knocked the sh*t out of him I guess.


And the P*ss



On the plus side, I drove it home, at night. One headlight survived, the other was not in a lens but still lit. No SRS airbags deployed. It doesn't have SRS ;-) Radiator is fine, no leaks, Condenser might be fried but the AC never worked anyway. I've got a 4-round 265 parts car to fix this with but i really liked the 4-recatagular setup better. Anybody want to trade front clips? :-)
