'81 245 has lack of power when I step on the gas................ 200 1981

I was driving to the hardware store this morning the car had little power when I put my foot on the gas pedal. It took an unusually long time for me to get going fast enough to necessitate shifting into the next highest gear. The car has been tuned recently, but this problem started (albeit intermittently) after I pulled the distributor cap/IAC so I could have access to the flame trap. I was thinking of cleaning the IAC, but the idle is steady. I left the car running and went to check the exhaust, and true to form the exhaust coming from the pipe was not steady. I guess I will need to check for vacuum leaks as well. If anyone has any further insight, it would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

p.s. I checked the vacuum lines, and they all appear to be good. Looks like the IAC is next :)
