FI Setup/No Start 1800 1973

Thanks for the info

I can't find the Yankee 1800 thread, the search funtion is pretty flakey these days.

I may just disconnect the vacuum retard. At least until I get the car going again.

Sounds like I have the FPR and lines setup correctly. Still not clear if having the FPR "outboard" makes a difference over it being in the fuel rail itself... Sounds like it would not.

I did use a small pipe cutter to "restore" the remaining fuel line. I can't vouch for what the seller did, but the car did start and run when I bought it.

I'll priv you my address.

I don't have a cutting torch, but I do have a sawzall. I'm going to start seriously diassembling the 71E this weekend (i.e. tomorrow). The front glass is out, side glass is out, door are off, seats are out. Engine compartment is almost empty. I neeed to pull the rear window and rear inside trim, and then I'll cut the roof off. Where to after that?? The front end is junk, One fender is completely rotten through (easy removal). I want to save the rear quarterpanels, and as much of the passenger compartment floorboards and braces as possible to use for repairs on the 73ES.

I've just never taken a car quite "this" far apart before... The local scrap metal guy will appreciate it though.
