Removing AT filler tube fitting 200 1987

I figure I'd better ask before I break something. I'm having a REALLY hard time breaking loose the AT (AW70) filler tube fitting so I can replace the pan gasket on this '87 240. Granted, I don't have a 15/16" flare nut wrench to fit it better, but it's not budging for nuttin'. My question is: Is it by any chance reverse threaded? I tried moving it in both directions, more so in the lefty-loosey, but had no movement to the righty-tighty either. Could be somebody's prior thread lock, who knows. Any suggestions are all welcome. Thanks in advance.
