Just fill it up, squeeze the upper hose several times while filling it, get it to the point where the bottle is about half full and you cannot burp anymore air out of it, screw the cap back on and fire it up and bring it up to operating temp, once cooled back down you may have to top the bottle up a little bit but usually not.
