IPD Nivomat conversion 900

Hi fellow Volvo fans,
I an considering doing the IPD Nivomat conversion on my 92 960 with IRS. IPD sells the Bilstien HD modified shocks with their heavier springs. Can I just transfer the bolt bar out of my old Nivomats into the bushing at the bottom of the new Bilsteins or do I have to buy their converted Bilsteins which are currently out of stock and much more expensive? Has anyone else done the IPD conversion on their IRS equiped Volvo? Could you please give me any caviots or opinions on the conversion.
Thanks,
-Bob
