Hello all,
Posting with a new car here, 91 240 gl, 168k.
Anywho, couple months ago the service light started coming on, not after anything specific, and it does go off after a minute or two. i've had other volvos that've done this, usually without problem..(can't remeber why it'll just do this, some circuit board issue?) Anyway, the real problem is the stallin out. Always happens a little after you start the car, not necessarily when the service light is on. I haven't noticed anything else, low idle, electrical, engine noise, etc.. when it does this.. and it does it pretty intermitently, not cold, or hot, ...
Just wondering if anybody else had run into anything like this. Maybe need to pay closer attention to the details when it does this. The car will always start afterwards and it doesn't seem like anything electrical is happening.. maybe someting with the computer/sensors...?
