Rough idle 200 1987

Hi,

Bought a "winter" car a few days ago. A 240GL sedan. 242.000km. I drove it to work one day last week and the next day the thing wouldnt start. The battery was stone cold dead so I had to replace it. Many of the fuses looked like they had been trough a world war, so I replaced most of them. I installed new spark plugs, I do not know if theyre copper though. The brand is Eyquem. Are these ok?

Anywho.. I changed the plugs and the old brick fired up straight away. Was a very happy moment. However, I think it idles somewhat roughly. The engine shakes around abit and sometimes it seems like its going to die, but never does. The engine doesnt look like its been taken care of the proper way for a long time. I have not checked for air leaks and such yet. Nor have I checked the air filter.

I was hoping to get a few pointers from you guys on this board :)
Do you have any?

Thanks in advance.
