71' 145 strange problems... 140-160

Ken - I've never bothered to do the research, but I have always assumed the "full throttle" numbers quoted for 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts were possibly with the kickdown cable disconnected. The "kickdown" numbers listed for those upshifts are more like the real world numbers you'll see at full throttle with a properly adjusted cable. I don't have a manual in front of me at the moment, but I believe the numbers listed on the "kickdown" line for upshifts are 45 and 65, give or take a couple mph. These coincide fairly closely with the sort of numbers I see on my ES (48 & 68, IIRC).
