Well, I went to my indy volvo mechanic and told him about my headlight wiper saga. As my car was running, with the lights on, he unplugged the same harness I did. Wipers stopped working and headlight remained on??? WTH??? Anywho, don't know why it did not work for me? Maybee it is somehow tied into the same circut as the lights and when no power was running to them i off set them when i unplugged the harness - who knows, but I got what i was after.
