Need Help Thread Chasing Front Calipers 200

Art,

Do you know if the transmission cooling lines or any other fittings on a 240 are the same thread size but made of steel? I was thinking of this last nite but didn't know if I could fine the correct size in steel. Worst case I guess I'll have to get a thread restorer kit.

"Those aren't taper threads, are metric on the 240" I'm not sure what this means. Could you explain?

This is the 3rd set of calipers I rebuilt. Getting used to it but I need a better method to contain the brake fluid mist when blowing out the pistons. Either that or do it outside. I ran a half a liter of fresh fluid through the front lines and will flush out the caliper before I install it.

BTW: I purchased a set of NOS rebuilt rear brake calipers and the anti-squeal piston indents where all mis-positioned. I guess you need to do it yourself if you want it done right.
