engine flush doubt? 700 1990

Not a $70 quick lube flush.
Yes, synthetic oil will clean things out, in fact it will clean all the old sludge out of seals etc to where there is a chance that you may spring some leaks for a while, after a long time , a good synthetic will generally swell the seals back up and slow the leaks.

If you want to do a real cleaning that wil also take care of the seal problem ahead of time, run a couple of treatments of Auto-RX ( www.auto-rx.com ) It does what it says it is supposed to. I've unstuck rings on countless diesels , and fixed all but one major seal leak with the stuff.

I've been using and selling Amsoil for over 20 years and for the last couple, I've been using the Auto RX treatment before changing customer cars over, instead of the Amsoil flush.
