car died, won't start 700 1986

I have a 1986 Volvo 740 wagon. Yesterday, I drove my car 70 miles without any problems. When I left to return home, the car started right away. About a mile down the road when I was turning onto the freeway, the car lost power, died, and would not restart. In the past when I was low on gas and would make a sharp turn, the car would hesitate but never die. This time, I had a half tank of gas and was entering the freeway from a circular on-ramp when the same symptoms occurred but this time the car died and would not restart. I disconnected the fuel line before the injectors and seem to be getting strong fuel pressure. I also checked spark and seem to be getting spark to all 4 cylinders. Any idea what this may be? Much thanks.
