$50 for new wiper blades ??

Went into Pep Boys today to get some wheel bearing grease and remembered that I needed new wiper blades, safety inspection coming up in January '07 and I don't want to fail...

There was an entire isle of wiper blades going from $3.99 up to $23.99 EACH for some from Bosch. I like working on my car, and I like quality parts, but I really can't imagine spending that much on a set of wiper blades. Is it marketing?

Does anyone know if these new Bosch replacements are really that good?

If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 245K looking forward to 300K badge. >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}
