Need Advice: Cardone Remanufactured Brake Booster?? S90-V90

It's been determined that I need a new brake booster (yeah, THAT'S where that hissing noise is coming from, and why I have to stand on the brake pedal to stop...).

Looking at the difference in price between a brand new OEM booster (~$500 from local Volvo dealer) and a remanufactured booster from Cardone ($180 + $30 refundable core charge), the remanufactured part looks REALLY tempting.

Cardone is the only OEM remanufacturer I've seen for this part. Do they have a decent reputation, or one at all? I'd really love to not have to pay for a new OEM or questionable off-brand part, if I can avoid it.

Alternately, is there another source of OEM brake boosters (I've checked the usual sources) that don't charge such a high price, if the remanufactured doesn't look like a good idea?

Any advice?
