Bug up my Arse; Low coolant detector and warning light 200 1993

OK Brickboarders,

My latest adventure involved replacing the heater hoses on my brick, and in my research I came to the realization that I must have a low coolant alarm light. Without it, we all jeapordize our engine with a catastrophic coolant loss. I have already ordered the liquid level sensor to be installed in the coolant expansion tank. In a prior post it was mentioned that a 1/2" red illum light could be mounted in the rectangular knockout to the right of the cig lighter to alert the driver.

However, being as anal as I am, that's not quite good enuf, so what I would like to do is use an open slot on the instrument cluster lighting maybe even going so far as to include that little radiator pix as in the newer cars, in the appropriate slot. Of course, this could be difficult to say the least as trying to decipher the Bentley's wiring diagram today was an exercise in futility.

Alternately, it looks like a modified seat belt warning light could be used in the slot next to the cig lighter, but obviously only if the white seat belt designation could be eliminated. Does anyone know if that insignia can be completely and neatly removed?

Any other thoughts you might have on this before I embark (again) in uncharted territory. BTW, where is this grommet where I'd pass my wiring from cabin to engine compartment?

Thanks again for your help, and I promise to post when I get this all figured and installed.

Marty Wolfson
