Different computers? 200

I don't think the computers are different either. Maybe it's all in the transmission? My '91 wagon, AW70, with 2.4 is a real dog. Just got an '86 M46 wagon with 2.2 and it seems to fly, not as good as a turbo, but enough power to make driving fun. The exhaust is broken off behind the front muffler which may add something as well. I also test drove a '91 244 AW70 when looking for a wifemobile that was just as doggy as my wagon. We ended up getting a 740T for her.

Do you think 2.2 might give more power than 2.4? I had an '83 (or whatever the last year of the 5 panel taillights was) 244 AW70 once and it seemed to be quite peppy, even with the slushbox.
