71 Cloverleaf Wheels, vs 73 Wheels 1800 1973

Can anyone think of a good reason *not* to put the black cloverleaf alloy wheels from a '71E onto a '73ES?

I plan to swap the front brakes and hubs from the 71E onto my 67 Amazon, which will upgrade the bolt circle to the later type and make my original amazon wheels incompatable. I think the steel 73ES wheels will look a lot better on the amazon than the cloverleaf wheels. But there might be something about the old wheels that I don't know...

Any thoughts?
