Blast from the Past 120-130 1967

Man, you guys are really stirring up my memories of driving cross country. My first trip was from OKC to LA in 2000, during my days in the USA as a student. Yes the Mexican food in Amarillo was good, and I used to get a kick stopping at those truck stops and marvel at those big rigs. I did most of it on I-40 though, perhaps the only time I really did Route 66 was from OKC to Tulsa with the Oklahoma Mustang Club in my Mustang GT few years later.

I played the "ROute 66" song to make sure that I was on the right track when I was "motoring west". I got my kicks alright...
