Knocking or rattle in rear end 200 1993

As Bruce said, torque rods, and also look at the famous Trailing arm rear bushings..A PITA to get out unless you have the other famous thing, the homemade removal tool..I just replaced the torque rod and rear trailing bushings,,No more sounds and the car does not swerve when you go over a crack in the road. Handles like a new one..Tool can be made using the instructions on this board. Do a search or you can get one from IPD, new price is around $189.00. Homemade one runs anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars. Here..http://home.no.net/ebrox/TAB.htm By the way if you replace the bushings I recommend using the poly bushings..
