OE vs. OEM S90-V90 1998

Others may differ but my interpretition of "OE" is dealer or blue boxed and marked "VOLVO".

To me, OEM (OE Manufacturer) is a faith-based term. Supposedly from a manufacturer that makes (or once made) that specific part for Volvo. And the packaging should define that manufacturer.

That means no Scantech or Beck-Arnley bags or boxes. Those places don't manufacture anything. They stuff their bags from many sources, with quality a crap-shoot these past few years.
