Testing 1975 Electronic Ignition 140-160 1975

GT:
From a private yard, I got the B30 system for about 150. Not that bad, as all the parts cleaned up very nicely. The donor vehicle was apparently running when parked with a bad BW35. Go figure...
I think I know which auction you are refering to, but I thought it went for a little over 200(!). Is this it? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Volvo-122-140-1800-240-BOSCH-Volvo-Electronic-Ignition_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33625QQihZ001QQitemZ110051812067QQrdZ1)
Thanks for the info on the diode. I will wire it up and see what happens.
Have you had any problems with the conversion?
Nick
