check engine light TWO o2 sensors in one week and its on again!!!! 700 1991

help!! My mechanic of 20+ years retired and I am lost!! MY Local AAA mechanic claims he's on it but I've repeated preoblems with my o2 sensor . He replaced it...it ran about 20 miles...claimed the unit was "faulty" replaced THAT one (overnight $hipping) now, less than 100 miles later the check engine light is ON again!!! I can only assume it is on the fritz again....(We replaced air mass sensor in the midst of this as well....) I can't help but think if george H. was working on it, he'd have uncovered the REAL reason my 02 is failing. :( Rig has 165,000 miles, clean and well maintained. PLEASE advise. Jj
