Time for a new rear main seal...

Hey again all!
I was wondering how hard it is exactly to get the flywheel off of the engine after removing the tranny? Does this require using air tools? Or just a really big breaker bar? I need to replace my rear main seal as it has decided to crap out.
How hard is this? Can it all be done in one day? Is it easier to just take it in and do it? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks in advance!
