Rear Door Compatibility - '86 and ' 92 760 Wagon 700 1986

Yo Brickheads,

I have a chance to get a '92 740 Wagon B230 (non turbo) for some very short money. Overall good shape - engine, driveline, transmission, brakes, floor boards, all glass, lights, directionals, and frame are all good.

It was a young guy's grandmother's old car and it looks it, very good ovreall condition for a '92 135K on it. B230 Engine.

Problem is he side swiped a tree and smashed in the rear passenger door - didn't break the glass.

It's a '92 wagon, mine is a '86 (Made in Belgium).

Will the rear door from my 1986 fit the '92 ? They look like a perfect match.


Does anyone know for sure ? I really like the '92 - but, I want to use all the parts I can from the 86 (if I decide to buy it) and piece together the bits from the 86 that fit.
