(Nearly New tires) Tire wear question? 200

A bit long.

I had new tires put on my car this past summer. (86 244) I replaced the Strut inserts, tie rods inner and outer, strut bearings, and ball joints in the spring. I had it alligned and they told me the caster was behind on one side. I looked and found that one of my control arms is a bit bent according to my artistic eye. (I also have a leaking power steering rack) Now I just had my tires rotated this week. First trip to the shop they rotated the tires and I was on my way, and then found the highway speeds to cause shaking in the steering wheel and all over. I took it back and had the front tires balanced and it helped but still problems. I took it back again today and had the rear tires balanced and the front where switched side to side because I also found the car was pulling excessively to the right.

Now here is the noticable wear on the tires. The two I had rotated from the front to the rear had strange wear. The tread was worn down but then gradually had the edge of the back part of each part of the tread still like new. I'll try to explain that again. Each part of the tread had excessive wear toward the front of the car but then it was not so worn near the back edge of the tread. Peaks and valleys. My brother said that happened to him and was told it was due to his struts. But then put a new pair of tires on and found it not happening with a different set. I have to wonder if something's wrong with the struts or are the tires a piece of $h*t? They are a BIG O brand tire (western US). 50,000 mile tires. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
