radiator blind 444-544

My radiator had the tube for the chain over the top, and the tube through the firewall and nothing else.I bought a small vinyl window shade from Walmart, removed the locking pawl in the end, cut it to the proper width, made 2 brackets to attach it to the pan in front of and at the bottom of the radiator. I found small chain at the hardware, hooked it to the top of the shade, ran it thru the 2 tubes to the inside of the car, through the small key hole looking opening in the center of the dash just beneath the ash tray, and put a key ring on the end. It looks original and works great. The most difficult part is that the grille has to be removed for the installation. Hope this helps.
