S90: power window switches - how to remove, replace? S90-V90

My driver's a nd passanger window switches on the central panel at the driver's armrest are kaput.
Had to drive almost 30 miles home from work with the driver window open - no fun, it was 36F.
How do I extract the switches? I don't see any obvious fasteners, but it seems that either individual switches, or the whole panel could be pried out.
Before I subject the surrounding plastic to the irreversible damage - is there a trick, how to pry them out?
Any hidden clips to be undone?
Is this described anywhere on the web?
Can these switches be cleaned, or do I have to get new ones?

Thanks,
-Michael
