Regina/Rex fuel check valve locarion 700 1990

Along with the mess my 745 is giving me (bad LH relay, intermittent fuel pump, replaced,new exhaust) currently with low fuel pressure (10psi), I noticed the pressure drops immediately upon pump shut down.
It has always had to crank for 5 seconds before starting readily, so I assumed the check valve was not functioning. Following along the fuel line, I cannot see it anywhere. WHere is it?
