Remote door lock 700 1987

The part commonly referred to as the accutator is the electrical part that makes the rest of the mechanism work (the part you removed from the passenger side).

So with the electical actuator and the plastic pivot point installed (as you have them), you connect the linkage from the pivot point to the switch that's below the door plunger. The switch is mechanically linked to the locking mechanism of the driver's door, and electrically activates the locks in all the other doors.

So the remote lock system is really only activating the driver's door -- the other doors are simply following what the driver's door is doing. So the driver's door remains the "master" door, and all the other doors are the "slave" doors (if that makes sense).
