Intermittent FM radio problem 900 1995

I toyed with the 940 OEM radio for about six-months with similar problem and finally gave up and bought an aftermarket radio/CD player [look at the neat ones you can use SD memory chips .. I bought a radio that has one and bought a SD memory chip that holds 30CD's {yes 30!!] and $9.00 recorder that plugs into the USB connection on your computer..put CD in CD player on compter and seconds later the whole CD is on the memory chip. These are about the side of a postage stamp. I replaced speakers too. Life is good with all the clear tunes!
