Wheel bearing change

The manuals are showing tapered wheel bearings which your car does not have. All 1988 and later 700/900 series cars use a sealed, double-row bearing. That nut is tightened to approx 160-190 ft/lbs. The actual spec is 75 ft/lbs PLUS 45° more. Remove the caliper and rotor to spin the hub by itself to be certain. That type bearing does not fail often.
