Re-soldering rear defroster 140-160

One of the tabs at the bottom of the rear window glass is not connected to the defroster grid anymore.

The tab is copper, but the grid looks like some different kind of metal...tin maybe?, stainless steel? I don't know. Well the factory window definately has the tab soldered to the grid. I tried to do the same, but I am not sure of the proper proceedure. Don't want to use a torch and destroy the glass, and a solder iron doesn't seem to produce enough heat to melt the solder to both pieces.

Anyone have any tips on how to reattach the tab?
