Is it really the temp comp board? 200

Maxspeed:

Go ahead and bypass the TCB, end the headache once and for all! I have had an 89 244 (new from dealer, TCB puked at 3K miles), 90 244, TCB puked before I got the car, 92 245, TCB puked intermittently after I got it. I bypassed all three TCBs and never had a problem with them again.

Besides, get creative on what you do with the TCB once you have it out... keep in mind this is probably the most unreliable part on our bricks... so get creative!

Uses I have found for TCBs so far:
1: 12 Gauge Deer Slug target practice.
2: Payload for oversized exploding bottle rocket.
3: And my favorite... testing an industrial strength joint chipper with it, the resulting confetti is very very satisfying, downright glorious!

Let your creative juices flow once you have removed the TCB, I found it very gratifying, considering how many times that lousy little board had me thinking the engine was about to melt down!
