Loss of Power at Full, or Close to Full Throttle 700 1989

The same thing was happing on my 92 740 Turbo wagon & I found that the hose the ran from my air mass sensor to the turbo had a hole in it causing a air leak. Check the hose carefully mine looked good but when I touched just under where the breather hose that come across the motor plugged in to it my finger went through a soft spot in the hose. I replaced the hose & the problem went away. I hope this helps.

Good luck
