OBD I Code 2-1-2 Woes 200 1991

I was getting a code 212 on my 1989 240 and traced it to the #4 fuse. In my case, the in tank pre pump had shorted and blown the fuse. The o2 sensor uses the same fuse for power to the heating coil. You may have some corrosion at that fuse and are getting an intermittant connection. My car runs fine without the pre pump, but I will replace it to prevent the main pump from failing due to the increased load. I don't know if your 1991 wiring is the same, but its worth a look.
