Hung up on Torque rods 140-160 1970

Finally got the rear axle down on the 142, but cannot release the bolts that go through the torque rods & the axle tube no matter how I pull, push, twist and smack them. Looks like a tension thing, how should I be manouvering the diff to get them out?

This is to be a short-lived victory... all the bushings on this car are shot. And I'm broke as usual. Otherwise this swap has gone well, if slow.

The next project on this car promises to be fun though... More to come.

Thanks for any advice if I'm away from the computer for a while.
