removing/re-installing rear quarter wagon window 200 1986

Hello all.
I'm having trouble with a perpetually leaky right rear quarter window. I've caulked a couple times but it always leaks. So... I'm thinking of biting the bullet and kicking the window out to clean up the area and reinstall. Any done this? Have advice? How do I remove the metal piece? Does it really just kick out (into a trusted assistants waiting arms)?
I'd like to re-use all the stuff if possible and reinstall with effective use of a proper sealant to insure a watertight window.

Thanks in advance!
