Bad rings or Bad Turbo Seals? 700

HI all!!! I have a 1990 760 with the b230ft. The car smokes bad through the exhaust and out of the turbo itself, on ititial startup and only at idle after driving for a while, it doesnt smoke in between. Seems when everthing is all heated up when I stop, it starts smoking.

I checked the flame trap, did the whole blow through the hose deal on the oil seperator, its clean. I checked for play in the turbo turbine, everything has normal amount of play, hardly any. I replaced the catalytic converter a while back.

I am wondering if I have bad rings or just need to rebuild my turbo? Just wanted to see if you guys have anything to say before I go borrow a compression tester and pull my plugs. This forum saves my sanity and my car, THANK YOU!!!!!
